born September 23, 1968 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Linda Marie Savory and Leon Silas Edwards, Jr.. He graduated from Boston Latin Academy in 1987 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Lyte Funkie Ones (LFO) was an American three-man pop group consisting of Rich Cronin aka Rich, Brian Gillis aka Brizz and Brad Fischetti aka Brad. Before Devin Lima joined the group in 1999 and Brad Fischetti was added by Lou Pearlman in 1996, Mr. Edwards was with the group from its conception in 1995. He changed the name of the group from the Light Funky One, which was used by Rich to describe him by local rap artists as a credible white rapper in a predominantly black field, to the Lyte Funkie Ones, which in turn was used as the group's name until it was changed to the Lyte Funky Ones and LFO. After Devin joined the group, LFO became known to represent Lima, Fischetti and O'Cronin. The band is best known for their hit song "Summer Girls".

Mr. Edwards was at first the group's manager. When the group signed with Trans Continental in 1996, he stayed in Boston because he thought his services was over. Nine months later he recieved a phone call from "Brizz" asking him to join the group as a security guard as they prepared to begin their European start of the group. He jumped at the opportunity. Once in Germany, he found the tour manager not up to par, so he sent him home, took over his duties and got another security guard to replace himself. He served as the group artist representative and tour manager for two years after that.
