Template talk:Tl1-1

This template is part of a suite including several enhancements of Template:User, aka {{user}}. (The first of those enhancements are {{User1 plus}} and {{User2 plus}}.) The purpose of this template is as an enhancement of {{tl}}.

{{Tl}} is usable with any template. Template:Tl1-1 and the others of the Tlm-n series are limited as to the templates they can be applied to. Template:Tl1-1 is for those with

• no spaces (after the colon) in their titles (the resulting single word being the reason for the first 1 in its title), and
• a single parameter (the reason for the second 1 in the title).

The markup {{Tl1-1|User|Jerzy}} produces

User: (Tt | Tl • THx • TtHx | TE • TtE • Tt+)
{{User|Jerzy}} => Jerzy (talk · contribs)

including a demonstration of Template:user, and the markup {{Tl1-1|Tl|disambig}} produces

Tl: (Tt | Tl • THx • TtHx | TE • TtE • Tt+)
{{Tl|disambig}} => {{disambig}}

including a demonstration of Template:tl using "disambig" as its parameter.
