RoosterTeeth template problem

I could just be talking rubbish, but I think it might just be an effect of IE. I collapsed the TOC, and saw that the template jumped up. I then refreshed the page. The TOC remained collapsed, and the template was in the right place. If it helps, I just checked with FireFox, and the problem doesn't seem to occur.--Drat (Talk) 08:43, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

Possibly. But, curiously, none of the other footer templates that I've seen (see Halo: Combat Evolved, for example) seem to suffer from the same glitch. -- TKD 09:28, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

RvB season 3 thing.

No problem. I was also thinking that we might as well do a general cleanup on Strangerhood and PANICS, as people will probably want to check out those too on the "big day", (if it comes). We should also do a similar treatment to the wikiquote page for Strangerhood as I did to the RvB one. With only ten episodes, and three or so specials, it'll be a walk in the park in comparison. I won't be able to do much tomorrow, however, as I have to look for work. But over the weekend, no trouble.--Drat (Talk) 09:57, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Over The Counter-Strike

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Tykell, the main user writing the Over the Counter-Strike article, is one of the people behind the show. Many IP edits also seem to be by people with intimate knowledge of the show. Tykell also made an article on one of the actors. I'm not sure about what to do about all this. Also, take a look at the talk page. Tykell's already suggesting that it's a featured article candidate.

I'm a little reluctant to slap AFD on one or both articles, even though they do seem promotional/vanity. I thought I'd consult with you, first, to see your ideas.--Drat (Talk) 07:04, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Vic's name.

I only just noticed Vic's full name listed as "Vickory". Where does this come from?--Drat (Talk) 15:12, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Ah, thanks. I was just a bit confused, as normally I try to stay on top of of all changes, but that one seemed to have slipped by.--Drat (Talk) 15:17, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Great minds think alike

In the RvB article, I switched the Team links out from the headings to the team image captions, and checked the changes to ensure it was all right. Needless to say, I was a little confused to see the current version no longer has linked headings.--Drat (Talk) 10:51, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism on Red vs Blue

Don't mention it. Luckily most vandals give away subtle vandalism by doing blatant childish vandalism five minutes later. Vandals != Criminal Geniuses. —Wknight94 (talk) 11:17, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

fair use rationale stuff

I've added the RvB Season 1 and 2 posters to the relevant articles. Can you add the relevant fair use rationale to the image pages? You have a better idea about it than I do.--Drat (Talk) 10:53, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I'm working on the new guide. When it's ready, I'll save it. It will need airdates, which I don't know.--Drat (Talk) 11:14, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
I've started the page: Red vs Blue episode guide: Specials.--Drat (Talk) 14:49, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Since you edited the Codex article

Hey I just wantred your opinion on something, what do you think of the summariesbeing taken from the main site? I think its a bit much, and was thinking about deleting them. -- Psi edit 01:54, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for responding. Im happy someone agrees with me. I might delete the summaries later. -- Psi edit 00:54, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism of Wisconsin Portal

Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for cleaning up the repeated vandalism done by MapGal on Portal:Wisconsin. Take care! Sulfur 02:23, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

Copyvios

Thank you for letting me know that. I hadn't known that part of the procedure, but it does make sense.Bjones 15:18, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

machinima guideline

I've updated my suggested guideline. Take a look and suggest any changes and additions you can think of.--Drat (Talk) 08:21, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I certainly agree about the Wikipedia: namespace idea. I'll have a look around, to see if there are any guidelines for guideline (heh) submittal. In the meantime, I will add to that talk page a list of links to AFD discussions on deletion of group/production articles, to show people precisely why they were deleted.--Drat (Talk) 12:04, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

re:AfD on Ghost Stalker

My apologies, that was just a mistake. I had meant for that to be my closure statement! I've fixed it now. -Splashtalk 12:53, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

Ih8Wikipedia AIV request

I moved your vandal intervention req for Ih8Wikipedia outside of the HTML comment tag so it is actually visible; it is now signed as by me, but I was about to make the same request. --MJ(|@|C) 10:24, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Go get some sleep then, the european shift is here. :) --MJ(|@|C) 10:28, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Can't Sleep Clown Will Eat Me nom

Thanks for the link. It was indeed a rhetorical question, but I do appreciate the link. I do a little RC Patrolling myself and when CSCWEM is working, you know there's a 99% chance he's stomped a vandal before you've even seen his/her change. He'll make a great admin. OTCS AfD

I will delete personal insults that have nothing to do with the talk discussion. Add them back again and I will go to an admin. Thank you.

Halo

Thanks a lot for helping on Halo articles and the template. Do you have a screenname? -- Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 04:59, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

As far as the Halo stuff goes, I try to do what I can to help out with whatever pages I come across. Incidentally, most of my interest in Halo comes from its use in machinima. I did see that you re-added the "Best gametype" stuff that I removed. I won't revert, as I'd rather discuss it first, but I'm kind of iffy about that, because it seems to me that "best" is a subjective term, and it's not really verifiable to say what is "best", because it's an opinion. However, if a reliable source — say, Bungie — noted that such-and-such a map is intended to be "best" for such-and-such a gametype, then we can cite that source, and include the information. But, even then, Wikipedia is not a video game guide, so we have to avoid going overboard with information that's only intended to help those who play the game. Anyway, we can discuss wehat's the best way to go with those map-related articles, and certainly thanks for dropping me a note. — TKD::Talk 11:15, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
I meant halo screenname silly! So I'll know you if I run across a game with you. I readded the gametypes before I noticed that you took them off in the page history. I wouldn't have, unless I didn't know. I know the List of multiplayer maps in Halo 2 has best gametype in it. Maybe we should just cut it out of all of them. Thanks, -- User:Mac_Davis
Yikes! I read on your user page that you have cerebral pulsy. How do you play halo with one hand? Do you use just the keyboard? How did you get it? What kind? How should I interact with disabledd people? lol, thanks. I love the internet! - Mac

DB templates.

Thanks. That'll save me some time.--Drat (Talk) 11:02, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Multiplayer in Halo: CE

Sorry about that, I forgot to use move. I'll remember to use it next time.--Zxcvbnm 15:27, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

The history merge is done.--Shanel 16:32, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that; the talk page merge is now done.--Shanel 03:17, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Uh yeah, characters in Red vs Blue

Yeah, my bad with the thing about Tex, I meant to put in the DVD commentary. Dunno why I put in profiles. Sorry!

Sarge saving Grif - I never actually meant to imply that Sarge said at some point 'Now we're even' or something like that, I just couldn't work out how else to say it

Church on Grif's intelligence - regardless on whether or not Church was messing with Simmons's head I thought there was sincerity in that statement, which is why I pointed it out.

Purple Hearts - uh, yeah, guess I was bored and wanted to toss in one of their jokes. Sorry.

Church's outlook on life - that paragraph was already there when I opened the page (and was incorrect in places), so that's why I modified it slightly. Being perfectly honest, I thought you'd put it in there. And I saw that the episodes had already been linked to, despite going nowhere, so I thought, assuming you had put it in, that I shouldn't mess with it.

So uh, yeah, sorry about all that. I'm still sorta new to this sort of system, I'll try and shoot in and out. That's also why I'm not in the talk pages yet; easing in, as it were. I'll start on them when I'm more comfortable with the info page systems.

Will refrain from meddling too much in future.

Cheers

-Dac

PS. Concerning spelling...yeah, that's the main area where I'll have trouble (being Australian I find it hard to conform to the American system, even when using American systems). Just thought I'd point that one out for future reference, so you guys don't think I'm illiterate. Thanks again

Whoops, sorry again! Coulda sworn it was in the right name. My bad! Shows how new I am to the system, huh. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by CapDac (talkcontribs) .
