[edit] email sent to me
Hi -
I received this email from you.
- You have some nerve claiming the credits can't be verified. You do not even work in the entertainment industry and haven't a clue what you are talking about. All one has to do is a Google or Yahoo search for the studio, production company, film festival in order to verify the credibility of the credit. There is also the IMDB.com and StudioSystem.com.
- In any case, I found your "concern" amusing.
Thanks for the feedback. I'd prefer to conduct our correspondance on talk pages, if that's ok with you. I've marked this page in my Watchlist so feel free to reply here and I'll know. Firstly, let me just say that Wikipedia has policies regarding civility and specifically of no personal attacks (see: Wikipedia:No_personal_attacks & Wikipedia:Civility) I think these may be worth reading.
I marked Mike Costanza with a notability tag because at the time I was concerned notability wasnt asserted in the article. NB: I wasnt sure whether the subject was notable (and that's not the issue here) simply that it was not asserted in the version of the article at that time (ie: here). If I knew the subject was non-notable I would have listed the article for deletion. The notability tag is meant as a guide for editors who are familiar with the topic to expand the article to demonstrate the notability of the subject. Please dont make comments regarding my knowledge or background when you dont know me. MidgleyDJ 11:33, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Collingswoodposter.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Collingswoodposter.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BigDT 14:16, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
