Tjorven (vehicle)

Tjorven, DAF Tjorven or DAF Kalmar is the name of a delivery van based on DAF 44 made in Sweden. In the mid-sixties Swedish Mail needed a new vehicle for mail delivery, and contacted Kalmar Verkstad, who developt and built it between 1969 and 1971. On the export market it was simply called Kalmar. It was frame-built with a glassfiber bodywork.
