Hi,

I notice there is no page for data sizes, although there are articles for each data size, such as gigabyte. I'm no expert, but I'm sure there is someone out there that is. A page which lists them all with a breakdown would be useful.

yottabyte is 2 to the 80th power bytes, which is approximately 10 to the 24th power (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) bytes.
The name yotta was chosen because it's the second-to-last last letter of the Latin alphabet and also sounds like the Greek letter iota.

There is clearly room for additional data such as 280 for yotta, explanation of the reason for each description as with yotta above. I assume that yotta is the largest?! That there is no googlebyte?! ;-)

An introduction that includes an explanation as to why there is a difference between storage and data transmission.
