[edit] Uploading images

The instructions are opaque. I enter the finename of the jpg on my computer that I want to upload to wiki, which is

  • C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\Yellow River Iowa.jpg.

You then entere a destination file name, in this case "Yellow River Iowa map", downloaded from here here

Bizarrely, I get an error message that says "." is an inappropriate file name. The instructions offer nothing.--FourthAve 06:06, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
