Tiruvethipuram is a city and a municipality in Tiruvanamalai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census[1], Tiruvethipuram had a population of 35,172. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Tiruvethipuram has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 81%, and female literacy is 66%. In Tiruvethipuram, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
