Reverting
I reverted it because it was vandalism as I said. If you keep reverting me you're no better than a vandal yourself. 80.2.16.73 (talk) 03:41, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Captain celery

Cobi's RFA
In Cobi's RFA, you !voted oppose due to his low edit count, so I thought I'd let you know that he's added a few hundred edits (albeit most are vandal reverts) since you commented. I don't know if that'll make a difference, I'm still an opposer as well, but I thought you might like to know. Useight (talk) 17:31, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know, but i feel that my opposition was not because of a lack of vandalism reverts, as i am sure he knows all about anti-vandalism sense he did create cluebot, but because of a lack of mainspace edits and article creation. Unfortunately he has not shown much improvement in either of those areas, so i will reluctantly keep my vote as oppose. Thanks for the heads up! Cheers! Tiptoety (talk) 22:54, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Citing from episodes
Hi there. You reverted an edit (well, an undo to be exact) because i didn't cite on the Michael Kelso. The info I wanted to put back in is from one of the episodes of That 70s Show. Is it possible to cite from within an episode, something like From Episode 208 of That 70s Show. I looked through the citation FAQs, but couldn't find anything. THanks in advance Ged UK (talk) 08:13, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Holiday COTW
Greetings to all the WikiProject Oregon crew. Happy holidays to those who celebrate holidays. Thanks to those who helped out with last week’s articles Oregon Garden and Robert B. Duncan. Due to the holidays and people likely to be spending less time on Wikipedia, the new Collaboration of the Week will run for two weeks (OK actually I’ll be out of the country, but same difference). The first item will be a general Reference Improvement Drive. So find an article, source an tagged sentence or bring all the citations up to WP:CITE standards. The other item is a Tagging Drive, looking for those random articles about Oregon that do not yet have a {{WikiProject Oregon}} tag on the talk page. In the past I’ve found the Category:People from Oregon and its sub cats fertile ground for the lost Oregon souls. Once again, to opt out or suggest future collaborative efforts, click here. - Well, why need the "what has Wikipedia become..." link on the thing when it's already on the userpage? :) and I'm still working on the page. I'm thinking to arranging your awards on the userpages (unless if you don't like that, I'll put a link on the navigation bar. Cheers, The Chronic 06:24, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- I removed it from my userpage, i just think it would be cleaner with a link to it. But if you are unable to do it that is fine, i am very appreciative of what you have already done. If you are abel to arrange my awards on my userpage while making them look clean and somewhat out of the way, then sure that would be a great idea. Thanks again. Dear Tiptoey,
I am unhappy with the changes made to the Shaun Wilson article but thank you for clarifying the noted changes needed to be made however I would like to know what formal processes I can use to challenge the recent alterations in accordance to Wiki protocol. Would be happy to discuss this further with you if need be.
On another matter, I have been contacted by Shaun Wilson (whom I am his biographer) who has seen the recent abuses (vandalism) made a few days ago (he apparently saw the changes before they were deleted by a wiki editor) and is very upset at two instances both in December and last June (you can see this in the page history - its pretty disgusting so thanks wiki for picking it up) where a substantial amount of the article was listed as highly defamatory and abusive to which he is considering avenues of legal action. Can you please advise...
With many thanks

- If you want to remove those templates from the top of the article that were recently added to it by another editor with the intention of improving the article, you must first address them by doing what they recommend be done to the article. If the templates are out of date, then feel free to remove them, and if you entirely disagree with what they recommend, discuss it with the editor who placed them on the page, or discuss it on the articles talk page. But do not continually remove them from the page, especially after your edit was reverted and i left you a message, as your actions constituted vandalism. Cheers! Thanks for that, I did not seem to be getting through to him that you just can't go about changing things to suit one's own ideas. I was assuming he was a new editor until he redirected his user & talk pages, which requires a little sophistication. Hey Tiptoety, I need your help and advice. Whenever I upload images I do it in .PNG format, but recently one of the images I uploaded was removed by John Biancato, claiming that single/album covers can only be uploaded in .JPG format. (Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#Format). There are just too many .PNG single covers I uploaded and reuploading them into .JPG would be a big hassle. (Yet, I don't mind but it would really waste my time). Can you verify if that rules applies to covers. Please, reply as soon as possible. Thank you. Bull Borgnine (talk) 22:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

I deleted the contents on the LIU, CW Post site labeled "arguments" because 1. I have been to at least 50 wikipedia college and university sites which only state FACTS, not biased grudges/complaints/heresay, etc. Not a single one had an "arguments" section. If they are allowed, they should be placed on the discussion section. These items add no value to the Long Island University site, which is supposed to be informative, objective and based on fact. This is CLEARLY a person(s) personal grudge against the institution. 2. I have a grudge against NYIT and I (in the past, as I now adhere to wikipedia standards) used to add my "arguments" against the school on their wiki site and they were constantly taken down as they were based on my experiences and personal biases and NOT on solid FACT. If my "arguments" were not allowed, neither should the ones on the LIU, CW Post site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.189.35.249 (talk) 23:16, August 29, 2007 (UTC)
