Tiosa is located at 41°09′10″N, 86°12′20″W.
Tiosa: Town named for a Potawatomi Indian chief who had a reservation here prior to 1838. Town burned in 1895; grew slowly since. Source: Fulton County Historical Society
Most of community destroyed by a tornado in 1970's.
