These articles require more details, revision, rewording, cleanup:
United States weapons systems:

- Merging of M16 articles into one large M16 article detailing the M16 rifle system and variations. Varieties that should be noted include the M16, M16A1, M16A2, M16A4, C7, etc. Article should discuss AR15 rifle-length (20" barrel) platforms officially adopted by recognized national defense forces, and should merge with all previous articles concerning such weapons. Please DO NOT merge with any articles detailing AR15 models in general, as a specific article should be started concerning military 20" AR15s. Perhaps the Canadian varients should be seperated.
- The same as above should be done for carbine-length models.
