[edit] Comparing Tintin magazine with other French language cartoon magazines

As suggested by Murgh in a request for citation, it would be useful for this article to include comparative information on Spirou and Mickey magazines. (And Pilote, the Asterix magazine.) This would entail expanding the scope of the 'Spirou and Tintin rivalry' section. Since these magazines catered to somewhat distinct elements of French-speaking society in a way similiar to that of the choice of subscribing to The Washington Post or to The Wall Street Journal, it might be interesting to write about these magazines' different approaches to target readership and about their respective editorial policies. As long as it isn't original research or synthesis (see WP:SYNTH), this may be interesting. Fram 19:45, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
If there are good refs for this sort of text that would be great, even though they'd unlikely be in English. Article~list Franco-Belgian comics magazines would also benefit from such a source. MURGH disc. 20:11, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
