Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Seaserpent85Talk 15:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: External Links

Thanks for your reply. Whilst I appreciate that some readers would find the links you have added useful, they are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Such websites do not constitute a reliable source and the unverifiable research they contain makes them unsuitable to be linked to from here. I do understand that quite a lot of the time, these sites are right with regards to future plans, but as stated here, "the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth".

As for the Thorpe Park history section, the contributor is irrelevant. However, if it is found that any information has been copied from other sites, then it will be removed. I hope this answers your queries and I hope to see you around on here. Seaserpent85Talk 21:23, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
