[edit] Your edits to Declan Cassidy
Hi, I have done some work on the links in Declan Cassidy (in order to {{wikify}} it a bit. Thanks for the article, though I have tagged it with a notability tag. I am also going to leave you the following 'warning':
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked indefinitely without further warning.
For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you.
But please feel free to edit around. Again, welcome, and thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:48, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, and thanks again. Just wanted to leave a not about wikilinks. For links to articles in en.wikipedia you just have to put the word in double square brackets, you don't need the full address (so [[Madonna]] is enough. For articles where you want to make the displayed text different from the link, you do [[Madonna (entertainer)|Madonna]] (the text before the | is the link to another document, after the | is the text that is displayed). Links to pages outside of wikipedia are inside a single set of square brackets, and there the displayed text is separated from the link with a space. For more information, see WP:LINK. Hope this helps, have a nice day. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:26, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
