Just... wow, thanks!

I was completely unable to sort that graphic out! Thank you so much!!

SVG bugs filed: 13494 SVG font scaling bug ("%" and "em" misconverted to "px") and 13495 SVG text attribute "underline" doesn't render. FT2 (Talk | email) 04:05, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
No problem. MW's rendering of SVG is very poor, so hopefully those bug reports might improve it a bit. Glad I could help! Time3000 (talk) 15:59, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
And another - your other Gecko problems are now solved:
  1. 13580 SVG nesting of <tspan> elements incorrect on Firefox + workaround. (Reworking the SVG to avoid nested <tspan> elements also seems to fix a second bug whereby the text is incorrectly positioned on the page too.)
  2. SVG underline doesn't currently work in Firefox, I did some digging. It seems they just changed text engine and it's not yet written for the new engine.

[edit] avi to ogg

I saw you uploaded a few *.ogg videos. Can you please tell me how to convert *.avi-s for example into *.ogg? diego_pmc (talk) 22:37, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Personally, I use ffmpeg2theora which can convert pretty much anything to theora (the video codec WP uses). This has a command-line interface only - I don't know whether or not that's a problem, but there's a bit about how to use it at Wikipedia_talk:Media#How_to_use_ffmpeg2theora. I don't know of any non-command-line programs, but a search for theora convert on google might throw up something. There's also Wikipedia:Creation_and_usage_of_media_files which might be helpful. Thank you very much! It works fine. diego_pmc (talk) 08:58, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pro Evolution

I wasn't logged in when i made the change, but you seem to have reverted it. Perhaps you didn't read it, as I don;t think that sentences such as "Konami also have chosen to activate the controversial regional lockout mechanism on the Xbox 360, preventing legitimate buyers to play the game on a region distinct console." belong in a decent wikipedia article. Thank you, appreciated. I didn't mean to be rude. Thedreamdied (talk) 16:59, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Persian Army Immortal.png

Hi there! I noticed you were fulfilling a request at the graphics lab to modify the image I uploaded. Next time please notify me if you believe the image is in need of an improvement. Your crop was a bit too tight in my opinion so I cropped a local copy of that picture myself :). Thanks,ยค~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 21:20, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend - normally image authors can't or don't want to make changes to the image once they've uploaded it. Looking at it again though, I do agree with the slightly looser crop. Time3000 (talk) 14:54, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
