[edit] speedy tagging
G'day Tim,
please take more care over what you tag as a speedy. You recently nomination an article for speedy deletion because it was an article about a real person which did not assert the significance of its subject. However, the article in question was about a film. Cheers, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 14:46, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Dave Crowley AFD
Hi. I noticed your recent tagging of the Dave Crowley article for speedy deletion and wondered if you had listed it on AFD yet. Thank you, Kuzaar 15:35, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sidney Cotton
You were quick off the mark with the {unsourced} there - I got an edit conflict when I tried to save the update with the Sources link :-) Newpage patrol is so much quieter since the anon page creation ban... - Just zis Guy, you know? [T]/[C] RfA! 16:24, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

Hello Tim,
No, I do nt have much history, but I am looking into it.
I will get back to you. Drop me an e-mail on steven.davy@tiscali.co.uk
[edit] Rugby League Conference
I often read the League Express forums but I don't have a log-in. There's no need for you to check about Leigh and Wigan, they aren't listed in Blackpool Sea Eagles fixtures therefore they must have dropped out. The groups are now correct, I've checked. The only ones I haven't been able to check are the Yorkshire and the Midlands and South Yorks leagues but I suspect that you would know if the groups were wrong.GordyB 22:24, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sheffield Eagles
I'm adding extra data that I've found on a site. The bit about Barrow didn't quite fit into my new sentence but if you think it is so vital I'll add it back in (assuming you have not done so already).GordyB 20:27, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- I know you are interested on pages on defunct clubs, I created one on Carlisle RLFC today. Your list of defunct clubs needs updating and there is a typo - Carlisle disbanded in 1997 not 1987 as stated. I'd change it myself but I get weird blocks which prevent me from editing certain pages (due to people with the same IP address getting banned) but allow me to edit others.GordyB 20:35, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proposal for rugby super league
Leave your opinion on this[1] matter if you are interested. It is basically about the term rugby super league being used as a disambiguation for all rugby competitions by that or a similar name. Currently it is used as a page for the American RU competition, the rugby super league.

[edit] Image source problem with Image:BeaglesRLFC.gif
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:BeaglesRLFC.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:31, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:BeaglesRLFC.gif}
Thank you for uploading Image:BeaglesRLFC.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
