Jennifer Rieger is a Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Bodyworker whose office is in Louisville, KY. She received her BA in Psychology in 1995. After the birth of her son in 1999, she began to take an interest in the healing properties of massage. Witnessing the benefits of touch in those with special needs, she continued her education at Advanced Massage Therapeutics, eventually receiving her LMT and NCTMB. She trained under Reiki Master Leonore Provan in 2003 and is a certified Reiki Practitioner.

Ms. Rieger moved from A Healing Touch massage practice into personal practice in August 2006. She is the owner of Hands of Light Therapeutic Massage located in the Seneca Building. She enjoys providing massage to the general public and also working with those with special needs. Jennifer volunteers her time regularly with a group of LMT's, providing massage to medically fragile children at the Home of the Innocents in downtown Louisville.

About her career, Jennifer stated: "I LOVE my work. I am so fortunate. How many people get to have a career where everyone they meet is happy to see them and leaves with a smile on their face? It is deeply satisfying."

She is also a freelance writer for Suite 101.com, providing web articles which educate about the benefits of massage, meditation, the arts and other areas of personal interest. She enjoys following her passions and observing how all the pieces fit together.
