[edit] Note on Username(s)

I have always been anti-sockname for almost any conceivable purpose. However, on May 6, 2007, I discovered I was unable to log in. I did not change my password, but I had forgotten to confirm my e-mail (it's a gmail one, Tim.Thomason). I plead my case with a former Wikipedia administrator, now Wikia staff member (see above, I'm a big-time Memory Alpha archivist), but she was, of course, unable to help out in any way, and I don't know any developers well (I've talked to JasonR before. Maybe. Sorta).

So, as of May 11, 2007, User:Tim_Thomason will have no more contributions. This page has and will be edited by "Tim Thomasons Temporary Username" as time goes on.

[edit] Proof

In case you're skeptical, here's a way to "prove" that Tim Thomason = Tim Thomasons Temporary Username (TTTU):

  • TTTU has the same e-mail as the "User:Tim Thomason" present at the wikis listed (admittedly by TTTU) on top.
  • Wikipedia User:Tim_Thomason had claimed on July 18, 2005 (see here) that he was the founder of the DCAU Wiki. The founder of the DCAU wiki is named "User:Tim Thomason" and has the same e-mail set in his preferences as TTTU.
  • I'm sure any checkusers out there could verify that the IPs match up (at least the recent ones).

RIP USER:TIM_THOMASON (JULY 18, 2005 &ndash APRIL 29, 2007)

  • As of the end of #139, the team consists of: Sprite, Angel, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Storm, and Colossus.
  • ...and it gets crazier and far more complex from there (eventually the second squad is re-opened, and at least a third one, and maybe a fourth eventually).
