Timothy Taylor (art dealer)

Timothy Verner Taylor (born 8 August 1963) is an English art dealer. His gallery in London's West End represents such major artists as Lucian Freud, the late Philip Guston, and Alex Katz. He was born in Buckland Monachorum, Devon.

Taylor, the son of a career officer in the Royal Navy, was educated at Reed's School, Cobham, Godalming College, Godalming, Surrey and studied at Farnham Art College. He was married to Lady Helen Windsor, the only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent, on 18 July 1992 in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. They have four children:

  1. Columbus Taylor (born 6 August 1994)
  2. Cassius Taylor (born 26 December 1996)
  3. Eloise Taylor (born 2 March 2003)
  4. Estella Taylor (born 21 December 2004)

Taylor is a survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma, with which he was diagnosed in 1998.
