Timothy Johnson is an author and teacher from Cardiff, Wales. He is best known for writing the biography of Gary Sprake, the Welsh international Goalkeeper. The book, entitled "Careless Hands: The Forgotten Truth of Gary Sprake", co-written with Stuart Sprake (nephew of Gary) was critcially acclaimed by the media. Johnson writes his books in his spare time, as he is a full time Politics and Modern history teacher at a Cardiff sixth-form college.

In 2007, Johnson started work on a biography of former Cardiff City, Swansea City and Leeds United legend Alan Curtis (Welsh footballer). The thus far untitled work is also a collaboration with Stuart Sprake is set for release in 2009.

Johnson was dealt a cruel blow in 2007 when the demagogues that lurk in the corridors of power at the college decided to divert resources away from Politics towards the fleeting whims of the college Honours Programme. However, Johnson has vowed to fight on to keep the department alive, despite the murderous desires of the powers that be, a fight that is so far proving successful with the Poltics students achieving good results in the January exams.
