Timo Räisänen is a Swedish musician, born in Gothenburg on July 25, 1979. He was previously part of Håkan Hellström's band, and has played in Her Majesty and many other, smaller bands. In 2004 he started his own career.
Räisänen is a Sweden Finn but his mother was born in India and had an anglo-Indian mother and a Swedish father. Räisänen's father is Finnish, but was raised in Brasil. When his parents met they moved to Sweden, but Räisänen does have roots in India. He was raised in Sweden not speaking Swedish but English as his mother's tongue.
Received the P3 Guld award, where he was named Male Artist of 2007.
