Timmy Simons (born December 11, 1976 in Diest) is a Belgian football defender and midfielder who, as of 2005 plays for PSV Eindhoven of which he is also captain. He also is captain of the Belgium national football team. Simons former clubs include Lommel and Club Brugge. He won the Belgian Golden Shoe in 2002 while playing for Club Brugge.
In the summer 2005 he decided to leave Club Brugge for PSV Eindhoven. He became vice-captain after Philip Cocu in the 2005-2006 season. After Cocu left, he was named first captain. He has become a keyplayer for PSV and is very popular by fans.
