"Time of Your Life" is a ringtone written and produced by American singer Mariah Carey and James "Big Jim" Wright for Carey's exclusive contract with Pepsi. It was released as a promotional single in order to promote Pepsi's summer ringtones on May 15, 2006.

Although Carey had done several commercials abroad, this is only the second one used for promotion in the United States. Carey's first American television advertisement was with Intel in early 2006.

Carey wrote and recorded more than twenty original ringtones which are being used for Pepsi's exclusive promotion with Motorola.[1]

[edit] The commercial

The commercial, titled "Restaurant"[2], which features the track "Time of Your Life" was first televised on May 15, 2006. Directed by Paul Hunter[3], it begins in a fancy restaurant where a man's mobile phone rings, playing Carey's song. The camera then switches to Carey who is then shown performing the song with dancers and then rides a motorcycle, jumping over a large neon lit Pepsi sign, which in turn sets off fireworks. At the end, the camera pans back to the restaurant which has been partially destroyed. [4]
