Time in Chile

Chile uses 4 different UTC offsets:
- Except for Easter Island, it uses UTC-4 and in summer as daylight saving time UTC-3.
- For Easter Island, it uses UTC-6 and in summer as daylight saving time UTC-5.
In 1987, the daylight saving time change was delayed for a day to accommodate a visit by the Pope.[1]
