Time Inc. is a major subsidiary of the media conglomerate Time Warner, the company formed by the 1990 merger of Time Inc. and Warner Communications. It publishes 130 magazines, [1] most notably its namesake, Time. Other major magazines include Sports Illustrated, Fortune, and People. It also owns the UK magazine house IPC Media, whose major titles include What's On TV, NME, Country Life, Marie Claire and Nuts.
