Time is a municipality in the county of Rogaland, Norway.
The centre of Time is the town of Bryne.
Time is twinned with Alnwick, Northumberland, England.

The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the farm Time (Norse Þímin, *Þímvin), since the first church was built there. The meaning of the first element is unknown, the last element is vin f 'meadow, pasture'.
