Timberyard Records was a pioneering record label in the Australian independent music movement of the 1980s. Initially releasing prominent underground Sydney acts such as Box the Jesuit and Johnny Teen and the Broken Hearts plus an early EP of You Am I, Timberyard took an extended break for many years. In the mid 2000s, Timberyard again became active with releases from Melbourne bands, Ripe and Cosmic Psychos.
Melbourne Band Damn Arms are also on Timberyard from 2006
Also released Christmas compilations "Rockin' Bethlehem" and "Rockin' Bethlehem - The Second Coming" in 1989 and 1990 - featured artists included Steve Kilbey from The Church, the Celibate Rifles, The Falling Joys, Ed Kuepper, Archie Roach and Paul Kelly
