Timarni is a town and a nagar panchayat in Harda district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census[1], Timarni had a population of 19,178. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Timarni has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 81%, and female literacy is 64%. In Timarni, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
