Tim Willcox

Tim Willcox is a BBC News presenter. He was educated at Taunton School, an Independent school in the English county of Somerset, and St Chad's College, Durham University, United Kingdom.

Tim regularly anchors on the BBC News channel. While his only scheduled shift is Friday 22.30 - 01.00, he is the primary relief presenter for BBC News and also appears frequently on BBC World News. Tim covers shifts across the midweek and weekend schedule, sometimes even covering two or even three shifts in one day.

Tim also worked as a presenter and correspondent for ITV, reporting from New York, Washington (9/11), Baghdad, Jerusalem, Moscow, Rwanda, Zaire, Brussels and Belfast. He was also ITV Arts and Media Correspondent.

Tim has also had cameo acting roles in Sex Traffic (Ch 4), State of Play (BBC), Jonathan Creek (BBC), 102 Dalmatians (Disney), Clueless (Paramount).
