Tim Riggins is a fictional character on the television show Friday Night Lights, portrayed by actor Taylor Kitsch. Riggins is the fullback on the Dillon Panthers. Throughout the show he struggles with alcohol, girls, and his own relationship with his father.

At the beginning of his junior year, Riggins was in a serious relationship with Tyra Collette. Their on-again off-again relationship went on for several months, but ended when Tim cheated on her with Lyla Garrity, the long-time girlfriend of his paralyzed best friend Jason Street. After this, Riggins turned to his good looking 30-year-old neighbor Jackie Miller. This went on for a few weeks but ended abruptly when Jackie decided to end their relationship and then proceeded to date his brother Billy. Since then, Riggins has spent most of his time in random hookups while also pursuing Lyla Garrity, whom he claims to be in love with.
