Tim Pagnotta (born January 17, 1977) is the lyricist, vocalist and guitarist for Californian rock band Sugarcult. Pagnotta grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1] He suffers from a hearing problem, tinnitus. Due to damage caused by the amplifiers on stage at Sugarcult shows, and the shows Pagnotta would attend as a fan, his ears were damaged leaving him hearing a high pitched sound in his ears frequently. Because of this, Pagnotta wears earplugs on stage, as do his fellow band members.[2]
[edit] Equipment
The guitar Pagnotta is most often seen playing is an Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Custom in Alpine White. Though he can also be seen playing Gibson 1960 special single cutaway Les Paul, a junior version of the Gibson SG '61 and on the band's earlier records a Sunburst, Wine Red or an Ebony Epiphone ES-335.
