Tim Mills was the Lead Guitarist for Iced Earth, he is also the owner of Bare Knuckle Pickups in North Devon, UK. Tim joined Iced Earth in October 2006 as a replacement for Ernie Carletti. His only release with the band, the EP, "Overture of the Wicked", came out in June. (Read below)
Jon Schaffer wrote to Blabbermouth.net that he had to quit the band. "He's had recent employee problems and has now found that his main worker, his right-hand man as it were, is ill with cancer." Mills was replaced in May 2007 by Schaffer's friend Troy Seele.
Despite not being part of the band anymore, Mills' work is still on the band's new album, Framing Armageddon (Something Wicked Part 1). He played guitar on the lead single, "Ten Thousand Strong", and helped co-write the songs "Reflections" and "Infiltrate and Assimilate".
Tim has also played guitars for Elkie Brooks.
