Tim Martin Gleason was born in Piscataway, New Jersey. Although he graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a B.A. in Psychology in 1994, he eventually redirected his career to musical theatre. His biggest claim to fame has been his portrayal of Raoul in the U.S. national tour, Broadway, and Las Vegas productions of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. He left the Las Vegas cast of Phantom Spectacular to rejoin the cast of The Phantom of the Opera in New York as Raoul.
Tim has originated several roles including Romeo in Terrance Mann's Romeo & Juliet: The Rock Opera at the Goodspeed Opera House and Adam Gernstein in The Rhythm Club at the acclaimed Signature Theatre, for which he was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award.
