Tim Lake

Tim Lake is a television news anchor and reporter for WCAU in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There he is the solo anchor of NBC 10 News at 6 p.m., co-anchor of NBC 10 News at 11 p.m. with Renee Chenault-Fattah, and provides news updates during NBC 10 produced information program All That and More at 4 pm.
Lake has been the primary co-anchor at NBC 10 since March of 2003.
Previously he was the co-anchor of NBC 10 News at Five and the news at noon with Chenault when WCAU-TV was owned by CBS.
Lake joined WCAU in 1992. Prior to that he was the weekend anchor at KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas and the 11 pm weeknight anchor at WCSC-TV in Charleston, SC.
Lake has always worked his professional career in newspaper or broadcast Journalism. He began working for daily and weekly newspapers during college. He also worked for commercial radio stations in Dunkirk and Buffalo, New York while still in college.
Newspaper reports in Charleston, SC indicate Lake was thrown in jail for showing the photograph of a murder and rape suspect on TV during a report he delivered in 1984. TV reports at the time showed Lake and three other station employees being taken out of the TV station in handcuffs. The charges were later dropped.
