[edit] Biographical note

Born in Santa Barbara, California, Kincaid directed an influential trilogy of gay films in the late 1970s under the name Joe Gage. In addition to the trilogy, Kincaid also directed (also under the name Joe Gage) several notable films in the 1980s. After missing in action for over a decade, Joe Gage returned in the 21st century with Tulsa County Line, a film which focuses on a seasoned highway patrolman introducing his younger partner to gay experiences during their tour of duty. He has done numerous films under the Titan Media Studio.

Under the name "Mac Larson", Kincaid directed several films. However, these films did not have the same lasting impact as those that he directed under his "Joe Gage" moniker. In the 1980s, Kincaid, using his real name, directed several horror and sci-fi low-budget films, often working for producer Charles Band. He returned to porn direction in 2001.
