Tim James (songwriter)

Tim James was born Timothy James Auringer on February 22 in Duluth MN. He is multi-award winning songwriter and music manager. He is the co-owner (with Steven McClintock) of McJames Music Inc. (BMI), 37 Songs (ASCAP), and More Baroque Music (since 1977) as well as 37 Songs (ASCAP). Mr. James and Mr. McClintock have been composing together for many years since they met in the 1970s. Their first recorded composition together was the Platinum selling Christmas single by Andy Williams, "Christmas Needs Love to be Christmas."
Mr. James worked with George Tobin as the co-manager of the group PC Quest (which featured Chad Petree, now of Shiny Toy Guns fame, as one of its vocalists).
Tim received a BMI award for Tiffany's Gold single "All This Time."
