Tim Gleason (b. January 29, 1983, Clawson, Michigan) is a professional ice hockey defenceman for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League.

Gleason was drafted twenty-third overall from the Windsor Spitfires in the first round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators. Before playing any games with the Senators, Gleason was traded to the Los Angeles Kings on March 11, 2003 for Bryan Smolinski.

After spending three years in the Kings organization, Gleason (along with Eric Belanger) was traded to the Hurricanes on September 29, 2006 for Oleg Tverdovsky and prospect Jack Johnson.
