Tim Bogert (born August 27, 1944) was the bass guitarist from Vanilla Fudge and Beck, Bogert & Appice featuring legendary guitarist Jeff Beck and drummer Carmine Appice who was also from Vanilla Fudge and later Rod Stewart's band. He was born in Ridgefield, New Jersey, United States. In 1970 he formed a rock band, Cactus with Carmine Appice, Jim McCarty and Rusty Day after Beck's auto accident. He is known for his bass solos. In late 1975, he played bass guitar for the tracks on Bo Diddley's The 20th Anniversary of Rock 'n' Roll all-star album.
He also played with guitarist Jake E. Lee.
Tim graduated from Ridgefield Memorial High School (Ridgefield, NJ) in 1963.
