Tim Boetsch (born January 28, 1981) is an American mixed martial artist, currently competing in the light heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is a four-time Camden-Rockport High School State Champion from Camden, Maine. He wrestled collegiately at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his degree in Criminal Justice. He used to do social work with kids who had behavioral problems before his MMA career. He made his UFC debut at UFC 81, replacing Tomasz Drwal who needed to pull out of the event. He completely dominated his opponent David Heath by first-round TKO after throwing him so that he landed upside down on his head.
