Tim Berrett

Tim Berrett (born January 23, 1965 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK) is a race walker. A resident of Edmonton, Alberta, he represented Canada in four consecutive Summer Olympics starting in 1992 (Barcelona, Spain). He has qualified to compete in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Berrett completed his Ph.D. at Queen's University, and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford.
In 2007 at Osaka, he competed in his ninth IAAF Athletics World Championships, a record for a male track and field athlete.[1]
Berrett is married to former field hockey international Tara Croxford, who also competed at the Barcelona Games for her native country.
