The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue is a direct-to-video animated film and follow-up to 1982's The Secret of NIMH produced by MGM Animation.
[edit] Plot
This film tells the story of Timothy Frisby, the youngest son of Jonathan and Mrs. Brisby. He has been chosen to become a hero to the rats of Thorn Valley. Also in the flick, Martin becomes corrupted and evil (although not by choice), and Timothy must confront him in order to save the Rats.
[edit] Trivia
Ironically, Don Bluth has stated on his website once that if they ever theoretically did a sequel themselves, he would have been interested in making Timothy a villain and Martin the main character.[citation needed]
