Quite possibly wrong in its judgements. But it is always worth knowing what people thought at the time. --172.216.82.33 20:41, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dean Tucker
I cannot find anything about Dean Tucker, who was famous enough in 1790 to be mentioned without further explanation. Can anyone help? --172.216.82.33 20:41, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- There seems to be a book about him called Dean Tucker and Eighteenth-Century Economic and Political Thought by G. Shelton, if that helps. Kappa 20:51, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
This has to be Josiah Tucker, (1713–1799). Confusingly, there is also Abraham Tucker, 1705–1774. He was a philosopher, but not an economist or a dean --GwydionM 21:21, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
