Talk:Time-lapse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
when did he compose time lapse?
[edit] Merging with Fast motion
It seems pretty straight forward. Fast motion isn't really a term that's ever used. It's just the opposite of slow motion. A smild form of time-lapse. That being said I'll just add the extra info from fast motion as a section. Plowboylifestyle 21:03, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
- isn't this chronophotography? Jerome Potts 09:46, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Really good
This article is really good. Not only did it give me all the information I needed but also contains a good section on the history and development of time-lapse photography. Good work! --Energman 10:47, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "The first major usage of time-lapse in a feature film"
"was Koyaanisqatsi (1983)", according to this article, although it previously praised Disney's 1956 Secrets Of Life. My own first exposure was in The Secret Life of Plants, in 1979, and i know i wasn't the only one whose first time it was to see plants growing (in an accelerated fashion), as i went with a friend, and also heard the exclamations of other spectators in the theater.
