The Tiles of the Hold are a tool of divination in the epic fantasy series the Malazan Book of the Fallen by Canadian author Steven Erikson.
[edit] Fundamentals
The Tiles of the Hold are used only on the continent of Lether, where the use of the Jaghut warren has prevented the evolution of magic. On the other continents, the equivalent instrument of divination is the Deck of Dragons.
