Tijuana Flats

Tijuana Flats is an American chain restaurant serving Tex-Mex cuisine known for its hot sauce selection and for its unusually-decorated interiors, which depict mythological creatures. Company founder Brian Wheeler opened the first Tijuana Flats restaurant in Winter Park, Florida in November 1995. The concept of the restaurant is a "fast casual" hybrid, where customers order at the counter and seat themselves but afterwards are served at their table. Currently the restaurant has locations in Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, with the most locations being in Florida.
The restaurant claims to stock over 700 hot sauces from around the world in its stores, including the world's hottest hot sauce, although all may not be available at each location. As of January 2007, the company is not accepting new franchise applications due to overwhelming interest.
