[edit] Poem

Chapel Hill is my home. We have the Dean Dome.

We live in the Thrill, We often chill.

This poem is awful, but maybe you'll ROFL.

Props for that man... Jay 22:39, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] LivingLegends/Comment

I put this up for speedy deletion because you have created it in Mainspace! Please delete it. Gillyweed (talk) 04:04, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm just going to move the comments to Talk:Living Legends, which is a vastly more appropriate place for discussion. Please don't create sub articles in main space. Natalie (talk) 04:06, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Czechoslovak vs. Czechoslovakian

Czechoslovakian is a noun, Czechoslovak is an adjective. ≈Tulkolahten≈≈talk≈ 22:13, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Clearly, I was unaware. Chalk up another bit of knowledge to Wikipedia! Tiger Khan (talk) 00:13, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Paleolithic-style diet

Hey, thanks for you contribution to the article. I've looked over the source, and the information is well attributed. I'm concerned though that the text added constitutes original research in that the author of the piece wasn't intending to criticize Paleolithic-style diets. I'm open to discussing it. Cheers. --Phenylalanine (talk) 02:23, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, it may not totally pass muster (by the original research test), but it's definitely a valid point in that if humans can evolve to metabolize milk for their entire lifetimes in only 5-8,000 years, it stands to reason that we've evolved (at least mostly) to handle grains. Perhaps not refined sugars, but grains nonetheless. I'll look around for more information perhaps. Thanks for the heads-up though. Tiger Khan (talk) 02:30, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
This is definitely a valid criticism. My understanding is that advocates believe that, while populations like Europeans may have developed some adaptations to grains, other constituents of cereals remain hazardous for human health, like lectins.
