Tiger Woods Learning Center

The Tiger Woods Learning Center was established in 2006 by Tiger Woods to get students thinking about the role education plays in their futures. The learning center is used by several thousand students, with a day program for grades 4 to 6 and an after school program for grades 7 to 12. There is also summer program, weekend and community outreach programs and online learning programs. The centre features extensive multi-media facilities and an outdoor golf teaching area. It offers courses that focuses on careers in math, science, technology and language arts. It is housed in a 35,000 square foot (3,300 m²) educational facility in Anaheim, California. The center was opened in February of 2006 and former President Bill Clinton and First Lady of California Maria Shriver where there for the opening ceremony.[1]
