It's also on the web in many forums such as this one: [1]. Added a link to Steak Tartare, which Tiger Meat is closely related to. It might even make sense to add this as an additional topic to the Steak Tartare page (which is also under discussion of being moved to the Tartare page). Arguably, Tiger Meat is more of a difference of nomenclature and specifics in preparation rather than a completely different dish from Steak Tartare. I'm from North Dakota and have eaten tiger meat there on numerous occasions. Trapzero (talk • contribs) 01:11, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- I've lived in ND all of my life and I've never heard of this food. Perhaps it is more popular in areas of the state that are more traditional enclaves of Germans? I've lived in the Red River Valley all of my life. --MatthewUND(talk) 07:59, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

- I've had it or known people that have had it in southwest ND (quite a few German towns, e.g. New Leipzig) and in the southern Red River Valley (Hankinson). Tiger meat also seems to be popular among the hunting community from what I've seen. I was extremely skeptical when I first tried it (worrying about Salmonella, etc), but after one "crackerful," I couldn't get enough of it. Trapzero 22:42, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
