The food chain would break up if the tigers became extinct. Three species of tigers are already extinct and many others are at a high risk of extinction. Really, we cannot be absent-minded of other tigers which are not endangered of extinction. We invented lots of other medicines for these illnesses which people believe only tigers' bodies can cure - so let's dump that thought and protect tigers!
