Is this for real? Googling reveals only felines not cyclists crossing the road. Please provide some reference.--ReddyRose 19:52, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Someone with a sense of humour. Toucan, Puffin, Pegasus, Panda and Pelicon crossings are genuine. Pelicon because the con is short for controled, the new "driving the essential skills" published by the stationary office, misspelled this word from previous editions of " the driving manual", confusing it with the name of a bird, not as it is, a pedestrian light controlled crossing.
